Walk-In Map

The Walk-In section of the Colorado River covers a span of 1 mile. This area of water offers prime fly fishing. This section of water is loaded with nothing but native rainbow trout.

No matter if you’re fishing pocket water in the Upper Boulder Field, the area near the Big Rock, or the riffle at the Paria, you can certainly expect to catch fish anywhere in this area. This area offers a convenient place to fish for the beginner, or expert angler without the hassle of a boat.

Tip:

To the uninitiated, this river can be very intimidating and difficult to understand. We do not offer any guide services for the Walk-In, but if you were to hire a guide for an upriver expedition, the valuable knowledge gained from your trip could easily be applied for fishing at the Walk-In.
